More About Us

The core members of DECP consist of Dave Dolan (Canada), Martin Stack (US), Robin Andrew (Canada & the UK), and Akiko Nishibori (Japan).  Dave has been teaching for over 20 years and holds a Masters in TESOL.  Martin has worked as the Director of an English Language school in Japan, in administration for Michigan State University, and has a Masters in Sociology (plus undergrad degrees in History and Sociology).  Robin has played professional hockey around the world and started a successful recruitment business in the UK, before joining the DECP team. Akiko gained her degree in Music Education from Kyoto Women's University and has taught music and English for over 20 years. She is also a licensed translator and interpreter.
Also part of the team is Heidi Henke of ColorFly Design, who is our resident graphic artist.  With over 10 years in the graphics field, Heidi is always ready to add finishing touches (or  design ideas) to your projects.
