So no more printed books?
Let's not be ridiculous. There will always be a place for curling up with a great novel. But textbooks, manuals and many other publications can hardly be lumped together with novels. These items can be greatly enhanced by the addition of multimedia elements to instruct students, recall historical data, learn methods and techniques, and experience the depth of the author's knowledge. The printed word can only convey so much.
